The Greater China market has developed into LANXESS's strongest in Asia, and is considered to have the world's largest growth potential in the chemical industry. All 13 business units are represent at sites in Shanghai (headquarters), Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Wuxi, Qingdao, Nantong, Tongling and Liyang, with around 1,100 employees (as of May 2012).
